Hiroshima 'Sun Mall'

I've hit the jackpot of secondhand pick ups in Hiroshima. It's all conveniently located on the top floor of the 'Sun Mall'.

First shop out from the escalator, an American vintage store "Sanbiki no Koneko" (Three Cats) where there are racks of dresses at 525Yen.

Rag Moo has some hit and misses, never the less an extensive collection and very well priced.

Then I found the second-hand chain stores like the 390Yen 'Thank You Mart' and the more highly priced 'We Go'.

These boots were found at We Go a vintage department store. The clothes were good quality and on the expensive side. But I had to get these boots.

Opening statement

Keeping in mind that I have 3 months to travel through Japan I'm trying to restrain myself on the amount of 'treasures' I gather along the way.

You see for me, there's a story behind discovering and adopting each pre-loved item. And every time I wear it, it takes me back to the place and moment of victory!

So far I've by-passed all the department stores and multi-malls. But with flea market/garage sales, 390Yen shops and vintage shops teasing me to find that special souvenir to remember the place by, I can hardly resist.

In honour of all the various new pieces I adopt along the way I will keep a blogument of where they were found and their story.
